Information Collection and Use
The Mash Networks, LLC Sign Up/Subscription form requests contact and profile information (like Name, Email
Address, Title, etc). This requested information is required in order to receive Mash Networks, LLC services. Mash
Networks, LLC only obtains personal identifying information from subscribers if it is supplied voluntarily by the
subscriber.
Specifically, Mash Networks, LLC uses subscriber information to:
- Provide sponsors with information that allows them to target and solicit potential users of their products and services via email, phone and/or postal service
- Track the open-rates of HTML emails and certain click behavior to help us identify which content areas are most popular with our subscribers
- Provide relevant, personalized and targeted research and resources
- Enable our customer service professionals to respond to feedback
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our
control. Our hardware infrastructure is housed in a controlled access facility that restricts access to authorized
individuals with positive identification. The network infrastructure is protected by a firewall and traffic is monitored
and logged both on the firewall and servers. All administrative activities are carried out over secure, encrypted links
between our offices and hosting facility. Administrative access is limited not only to authorized employees but also to
these encrypted links, specific remote administration protocols and IP addresses. Subscriber information is backed
up regularly to protect against accidental loss. All employees with access to user information are trained in Mash
Networks, LLC security policies and practices. Mash Networks, LLC will continue to conduct internal audits of its
security systems and make all necessary enhancements to ensure the security of the Website and its users.
Contacting Mash Networks, LLC
In the event that a subscriber contacts Mash Networks, LLC via Email or using a feedback form, the user will not be
subject to receive any communication other than a response to the Email, unless specifically requested by the user.
Email Video Feature
When a subscriber elects to Email a Mash Networks, LLC video to another person, we ask the subscriber only for
the Email address of the intended recipient. Mash Networks, LLC then stores this information for the sole purpose
of sending the recipient a one-time Email inviting him or her to visit the site. The recipient will not be defaulted into
receiving any other communication from Mash Networks, LLC.
Cookies
Client-side cookies are used to verify the unique session status of users while they are visiting Mash Networks, LLC
sites. If users reject the cookies, they may still use our site.
Choice/Opt-Out
Each Email sent through the Mash Networks, LLC system contains an easy, automated way for you to cease
receiving communication from us. To unsubscribe, simply click the "unsubscribe" link in the footer of any Email from
Mash Networks, LLC.
Update Profile
Mash Networks, LLC gives subscribers the option to change and modify information previously provided. To change
subscription information, simply log in to the site and use the "Edit Profile" link located in the "Log In" box.
Notification of Changes
If Mash Networks, LLC is going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated
at the time of collection, we will notify subscribers via Email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your
information in this different manner.
