Federation of European Risk Management Associations
  The national risk management associations of 12 countries form the Federation of European Risk Management Associations – FERMA. It represents over 5000 individual members and a wide range of business sectors from manufacturing to financial services, charities and health organizations as well as local government organizations. Member associations are from the following countries: Belgium (BELRIM), Denmark (DARIM), France (AMRAE), Germany (Bfv & DVS), Italy (ANRA), Netherlands (NARIM), Portugal (APOGERIS), Russia (RussRisk), Spain (AGERS), Sweden (SWERMA), Switzerland (SIRM) and United Kingdom (AIRMIC).

Global Association of Risk Professionals
  GARP is a non-profit independent association of risk management practitioners and researchers representing banks, investment management firms, government regulatory bodies, academic institutions, corporations and other financial organizations. GARP's mission is to be the leading professional association for risk managers, managed by and for its members dedicated to the advancement of the risk profession through education, training and the promotion of best practices globally.

The Professional Risk Managers' International Association
The Professional Risk Managers' International Association was founded in 2002 as a free and open forum promoting the highest standard of education, ethics and professionalism in the global practice of risk management.

Public Risk Management Association
This association promotes effective risk management in the public interest as an essential component of public administration. The association provides public risk management professionals with the latest industry news, issues, and information; practical education and training; cost-reduction methods to counter shrinking budgets; career advancement tools; and top-level model programs and statistics.

Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.
  The Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, a professional discipline that protects physical, financial and human resources. Founded in 1950, RIMS represents nearly 4,000 industrial, service, nonprofit, charitable, and governmental entities. The Society serves 10,000 risk management professionals around the world.

Risk Management Association
  Founded in 1914, the Risk Management Association is a not-for-profit, member-driven professional association whose sole purpose is to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. RMA promotes an enterprise approach to risk management that focuses on credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

Society for Risk Analysis
  The society (known by the acronym SRA) is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, scholarly, international society that provides an open forum for all those who are interested in risk analysis. Risk analysis is broadly defined to include risk assessment, risk characterization, risk communication, risk management, and policy relating to risk, in the context of risks of concern to individuals, to public and private sector organizations, and to society at a local, regional, national, or global level.
